About the Project
The Pilgrim is a concept, story album written and performed by Nate Currin, a singer-songwriter with a passion for quality music.

The Pilgrim is based lyrically on the book The Pilgrim’s Progress by John Bunyan, first published in 1678 in England. Bunyan's work is regarded as one of the great works of English literature, and outside of the Bible, is the number one book in print of all time.

John Bunyan was imprisoned in the Bedford County Jail from 1660 to 1672 and it was while imprisoned there that he began to write The Pilgrim's Progress, which is an allegorical work centered the journey of the Christian life, with the main character Christian (or Pilgrim) making the journey from The City of Destruction to the Celestial City.

Nate Currin, a singer/songwriter is in the process of writing and recording a musical, concept album based on Bunyan's book, but also incorporating small pieces of his own life and journey into various songs.

With the help of Producer Simon Illa in Atlanta, Nate has kicked off the project by recording a couple of demo songs, which you can listen to on the Introduction of this website. Stay tuned, as the site is updated and expanded to learn ways to get involved and receive songs and other items in the future!
